Who Is Dorian Nakamoto?
Dorian Nakamoto is a Japanese-American computer engineer and physicist who gained notoriety in 2014 when he was falsely identified as the creator of Bitcoin. He has since become an advocate for cryptocurrency, speaking at conferences around the world about its potential to revolutionize finance. Dorian’s story began in 1949 when he was born Satoshi Nakamoto in Beppu, Japan. After graduating from California State Polytechnic University with a degree in physics, Dorian worked on classified defense projects for companies like Hughes Aircraft and Motorola before eventually becoming self-employed as a computer engineer.
In March 2014, Newsweek published an article claiming that Dorian was the mysterious founder of Bitcoin known only by his pseudonym “Satoshi Nakamoto”. The article caused a media frenzy which led to numerous interviews with major news outlets such as CNN and BBC News. Despite denying any involvement with Bitcoin or blockchain technology during these interviews, many people still believe that Dorian is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto due to circumstantial evidence linking him to the project. Regardless of whether this claim is true or not, it has certainly made Dorian one of the most recognizable figures within the cryptocurrency community today.
